Playing with Matches is a story about a broken middle-aged man named Gil Squid (Joseph Scott Anthony). After he's forced to take a buy out from his janitorial job he uses the opportunity to finally get his dreamboat and leave Michigan for good. However, upon doing so, he meets Robin (Alicia Deven Clark), an equally broken individual who puts a small kink in his plan.
